Stakeholders from across Canada came together to co-design a national employment network with a shared goal to change the odds of employment success for people on the autism spectrum. A variety of perspectives were represented at the meeting including autistic individuals, family members, employers, agencies, policy makers, community members, researchers, and clinicians. Nearly all event attendees expressed interest in ongoing participation in the Worktopia National Employment Network.

After the event, the Worktopia website launched as a platform to share data, knowledge and experiences related to autism and employment.

We encourage you to share information about Worktopia broadly with others who may be interested. Consider employers, self-advocates and others, including those who may bring a perspective that currently may be under-represented in this endeavour. Let’s work together to build a network that embodies all the voices in our community.
